F.A.Q s
1. Other than providing colour or black and white photos, do you produce any with other 'special effects' such as B&W with certain elements in colour etc? And if you do, will these cost extra?
A1.-Apart from B&W/Colour I can also offer sepia prints. These would be
charged at the same rate as the B&W/Colour re-prints. See re-prints page.
2. Do you provide 'touch ups' on the photos? If so, is this included in the package or an additional cost?
A2. -Every print/image is put through Photoshop to ensure each one
is sharp and colour balanced.
3. Is there a photo album included in the package? Can you send me an image of it please?
A3. - See my wedding album page for all details.
4. Will you be using a digital or film camera?
A4. - I use professional digital SLR cameras with a selection of lens from
17mm to 300mm which I carry with me at all times and use as situations
dictate.
5. What other accessories will you be bringing on the day and will you need
an assistant to carry the gear?
A5.- I will have a step ladder (a most important tool!) and a reflector
along with my camera kit. I may ask a helpful hand to hold up the
reflector very occasionally but apart from this I'm fine.
6. Is there a limit to the number of photos you will be taking on the day?
A6.- I offer from 90 to 150 prints depending on which package you go for. I have found these to be the optimum number of images I take without repeating the images, but I don't limit myself to this. I simply take as I see fit and obviously when you ask for something in particular. If I end up with more I will either include them at no extra cost or let you have contact sheets with the option to order the prints at the rates detailed on the pricing page.
7. Does the package include travel costs? And will you require food during the session?
A7.- All travel costs are included for weddings in London and the M25. I do ask for £45 for each 50 miles I travel from the M25 (one way). Food is always welcome!
8. Will the right to the photos (digital images or negatives) be transferred to us or kept within your company?
A8.- I always ask for joint ownership so that I can use some of your images on my website and in my marketing.
9. How long will we have to wait for the album and photo CD after the wedding?
A9.-I guarantee to have the prints/album delivered by 14 days from the wedding. Or a date that suits after this. The web gallery will be viewable in 7 days.
10. What will be the arrangement if you are unwell on the day? Will there be someone that you can recommend at last minute who provides a similar package?
A10.- As for cover if I am ill, I know several brilliant photographers and
would be able to get cover without any trouble. They would provide the same package we had agreed on. I would also add that I have missed no more than 2 days in the past eight years, so don't worry, self-employment cures most ills!
11. Finally, do you currently hold any form of insurance for yourself and/or the company?
e.g. public liability insurance, indemnity insurance.
A11.-I have public liability insurance for any public space up to £1,000,000.
All my equipment is insured and I am also covered with a life insurance
policy incase something befalls me.
If you have any other questions, please give me a call or fill out an enquiry form.
I endeavor to answer all enquiries within 24 hours.
Best wishes,
Paul
